Pat Harrington

Pat Harrington was a fine reeds player and a well-respected member of the Brisbane Big Band and The Brisbane Citizens Concert Band . A former airline pilot and student of the Queensland Conservatorium, Pat was an inspiration to many Queensland musicians. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday 5 February 2020. Pat also played with smaller jazz ensembles in Brisbane, The Lockyer Valley and Toowoomba.  He was a foundation member of the Toowoomba Jazz Society and enjoyed performing in great local bands such as Connect the Dots.   Hear Pat Harrington as a member of the Brisbane Big Band on their CD Tailspin   2013.
